Deborah Christine Brock

Deborah “Debbie” Christine Brock, 66, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away after a year long battle with breast cancer on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, surrounded by family and friends at The Ohio State University Hospital. She was born on October 26, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Vaughn and Joan Chaffin. Debbie worked for 30 plus years alongside her husband Gary and countless friends for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. She loved all things outdoors, was an avid collector of four leafed clovers, enjoyed watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets, preparing delicious meals, loved live music and dancing, and traveling the world. Debbie was a kindhearted soul and a mother to all that came into her life, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 30 plus years, Gary Brock; children, Shelby (Max Nader) Brock and Sydney Brock; granddogs, Mazi, Luka, Jax, and Stormy; mother-in-law, Mary Brock; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to her parents, Debbie is preceded in passing by her brother, Travis Chaffin. Honoring Debbie’s wishes cremation is to take place.
