Debra Maria Balawajder, 72, of Gahanna, went to her eternal home to be with Jesus on Sunday, February 22, 2026. She was born on September 27, 1953 in Sewickley, PA, a daughter to the late Michael and Jean (Anzur) Kamicker. Debra is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Ronald Balawajder; children, Robert (Brittany) Balawajder, Pat (Rikki) Balawajder and Carrie (Josh) Vandenburg; grandchildren, Eliana, Maddux, Emma, Silas, Sunny, Zoe and Judah; siblings, Larry (Andrea) Kamicker and Maxine (Tom) Vigliotta and many nieces and nephews. Honoring the family’s wishes, private services will take place. Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Life service honoring Debbie will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at LifeGiving Church, 395 N. Sunbury Rd., Westerville, OH 43082. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory Ministries Center of Hope, 3964 East Main St., Columbus, OH 43213 in Debra's memory.
