
Douglas W. Winter, 49, of Johnson City, TN, formerly of Pataskala, passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Born on October 2, 1961 to William and Donna Winter in Amherst, Ohio. He was a graduate of Watkins Memorial High School and spent 4 years in the Air Force. Survived by wife of 14 years Jani (Dodge) Winter, children Matthew (Sandra) Winter, Jesse (Sondra) Conley, Kimber (Philip Carpino) Winter, Jason Conley and Blake Winter, grandchildren Julian, Ariana, Allison, Warren and Kayla, siblings Scott (Carrie) Winter, Dawn (Dwayne) Henkel and Heather (Matt) Carberry, father and mother-in-law Mike and Shirley Dodge, brothers and sisters-in-law Toni Dodge, Dane (Klaudia) Dodge, Mike (Nene) Dodge and Lori (Steve) Dorsey and Geri Dodge, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother Eric Winter. Friends may call at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, Pataskala on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 5 to 8pm. Funeral service on Thursday at 10:00am with Pastor Albert Laese officiating. Burial to follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
