Frederick James Patterson

Frederick James Patterson, 77, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021. He was born February 18, 1944 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late Faith and Harold F. Patterson. Frederick graduated in 1962 from Kokomo High School, and then continued his education with Ivy Tech receiving two associate degrees. He was a proud Vietnam War veteran of the United States Marine Corp, he served his country for 6 years. Frederick was an active member with the V.F.W. and the American Legion. He retired after 35 hardworking years from AT&T. On May 20, 1972, he married Ann (Brubaker) Patterson, who survives in Pataskala, Ohio. Frederick is also survived by his children, Jen (Steven Skovensky) Patterson of Columbus, Ohio and Jim (Stacy) Patterson of Losantville, Indiana; grandchildren, Caz Skovensky, Zora Skovensky, Taylor Patterson, and Trenton Patterson; sisters, Colleen (Marvin) Holaday of Russiaville, Indiana and Cherry Miller of Texas; brother, Patrick (Debbie) Patterson of Monticello, Indiana; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Harold F. Patterson Jr. Per Frederick’s wishes there will be no services, and cremations arrangements are entrusted to Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Frederick’s name to the charity of your choosing.
