Harry Reed Allen

Harry Reed Allen, 73, of Pataskala, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born on June 27, 1941 in Pataskala, OH, a son to the late Harry and Catherine (Stemen) Allen. Harry graduated from Watkins Memorial High School, class of 1959. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, farmer and lifetime member of the NRA. Harry retired from Shelly and Sands as a Master Mechanic and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 18 District 3. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Creta “Susie;” daughter, Vicky D. Martie; grandchildren, Daniel (Syera) Shrigley of Hebron, OH and Allison Martie; two great-grandchildren; step-children, Lee Riley and Sean (Sara) Zink; two step-grandchildren and special friend, Alfred “Dick” Belles. He is preceded in death by his sibling, Verna Faye (Edwin) Davis. Funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062 with an hour prior of visitation. Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating.
