

James Grant “Jim” Lenhart, age 68, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 in Lancaster, Ohio. He was born January 23, 1952 in Delaware, Ohio to the late Marion and Joan (Spence) Lenhart. Jim is survived by his wife of nearly 49 years, Roberta “Bobbie” Lenhart. They were high school sweethearts and married on May 22, 1971, at the home of Bobbie’s parents. Jim will also be deeply missed by his children, James (Hope) Lenhart, II, Scott (Beth) Lenhart, Dustin (Paula) Lenhart, John (Debbie) Lenhart, and Mary (Nicholas) Carpenter; sisters, Judith (Dennis Schiermann) Sowers and Jackie (Joe) Ennemoser; aunts, Harriet Lenhart and Cecil Mae (Ed) Woodworth; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one on the way; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jim leaves behind a strong legacy for his loved ones to celebrate. As a dedicated family man, he welcomed new members of his family with open arms. Throughout the years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and time spent outdoors. Jim raised horses for racing and delighted in his trips to Las Vegas. Later in life, he took up baking and become known for his wonderful homemade bread. Visitation will be 5-8 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 South Main Street, Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 31th, at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Jersey Cemetery.
