Mary Beth Fries, 51, of Mount Perry, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 4, 2017 in Lansing, MI. She was born on September 4, 1966 in London, OH, a daughter to Phyllis Hatfield and Bert Hatfield Jr. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Steve; children, Shannon Newman, Crystal (Amanda) Newman, Samantha (Ronnie) Lowery and Tommy Lee; grandchildren, Kurstin Prince, Johnny Prince Jr., Branden Price, Brooklynn Newman, Jordan Newman, Miles Lowery and Landen Newman; siblings, Paul Mark Skaggs and Tracy Hatfield and many nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her brother, Billy Hatfield. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Chip Richardson officiating. Honoring Mary’s wishes cremation will follow.
