Michael A. Donnelly, better known as “Mikey”, age 64 of Granville, died Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Kobacker House in Columbus. Michael was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 15, 1949 to the late Robert and Norma (Wilson) Donnelly. A member of the Sylvania HS class of ’67, he was retired from Anheuser Busch / Metal Container Corporation. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, was a fan of Notre Dame and Manchester United. He was a handyman, always helping others in any way he could, loved hunting and being a sportsman, and was a loving father and grandfather figure to many children that knew and loved him.
Michael is survived by his wife Cathy, daughters Bethanie and Catie, several nephews, best friends Dale Dunn and Jim McCann and many wonderful loving friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his beloved pet Maggie; and, he will be missed by his faithful companions Bo and Gus.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Drive, Cols 43214 in his memory.
