Robert Francis Cadegan Jr.

Robert Francis Cadegan,Jr., age 65 of Reynoldsburg, passed away at his residence on July 30, 2012. Born on January 18, 1947 to the late Robert (Pat) Cadegan and Sarah (Robert) Hickman in Buckeye Lake, Ohio. Bob worked at Phelps Dodge Magnet Wire Company for 17 years, Sumitomo Electric for 10 years, owned a Furniture Medic franchise for 3 years and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Bob loved golf, fishing, taking care of an immaculate yard, had a great sense of humor and was a member of St. Pius Parish in Reynoldsburg, OH since 1987. He was a veteran of Vietnam and a recipient of the Bronze Star. Survived by wife of 43 years Diane (Martiny) Cadegan, daughter Colette Cadegan, son Steven (Holly) Cadegan, granddaughter Kendall and grandson Kellen, brother Jerry (Sharon) Cadegan, sisters Patty (Jim)Penny, Linda (Mike) Haley, Aunt Betty, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers Roger and Edward Cadegan. Friends may call at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, Pataskala on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 5-8pm. Funeral service on Friday at 10:30am at the funeral home with Monsignor David Funk officiating. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pataskala, Ohio.
