Robert Leonard Johnson

Robert (Bob) L. Johnson, 69, of Pataskala, Ohio, fell asleep in Jesus to await the resurrection at Jesus’ second coming. Born on October 1, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio, he passed to his rest at home on June 19, 2014 at 1:01 PM. After giving his heart to Jesus, he was baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church on September 23, 1978

Bob was the son of the late Hazel Dell Rife and Murrill Emerson Johnson. He was preceded in death by his sister Myrna (Jim) Burke.

Surviving is his loving wife and best friend, Linda, his brother, Murrill (Bud) E. (Maryann) Johnson, his children, Lori Lynn (Marty) Milligan, Robin Lee (Don) Harrell, Robert L. Johnson, Jr., Wendy Renee Wilson, Michael L. (Rebecca ) Joslin, Jessica Renee Johnson, special cousins, Linda (Tye) DeMass and Tex (Monica) Hysell. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. There are also several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families that Bob loved. Bob had many friends that were very special to him.

Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 29 at 2:00 PM. The service will be at the Lancaster Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 2640 Lancaster-Thornville Rd, Lancaster, Ohio.
