Shirley Ann James, 81, of Hebron, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 29, 1936 in Johnstown, OH, a daughter to the late Fred and Ethel (Evans) Bodkin. Shirley was a member of the 55 Plus Club-Hebron, Twig 24 and Buckeye Lake Seniors. She retired from Columbus Southern Power. Shirley is survived by her loving daughters, Brenda James and Terry (Paul) George and grandchildren, Zackery and Allison George. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Edsel James. Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Jeffrey Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown.
