

Thomas Wilson Plato, 76, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025 at his residence surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born June 2, 1948 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to the late Miller Wilson and Vanetta Puckett Plato. Thomas was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. For the last 11 years Thomas has worked in the community as a neuromuscular massage therapist. In his free time, Thomas was an avid collector of model trains and guns. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Phyllis Plato; daughters, Krista (Jeff Donnellon) Plato, Heather (Todd) Morris, and Stacie (Joseph) Walpole; grandchildren, Cora and Crosby Donnellon, Seth and Hayden Walpole, and Gabriel and Elijah Morris; great-grandson, Koleson Walpole; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in passing by his first wife, Evangelyn Carol Plato; son, Jeffrey Scott Plato; and siblings, Dixie Plato-Brown, Susie Boevers, and Randy Plato. A funeral service will be held at a later date at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Following Thomas’ wishes, his urn will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
