Willard Ray Kammeyer

Willard R. Kammeyer, 87, formerly of Pataskala, OH, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 in Marlton, NJ. He was born March 28, 1930 in Farmer, OH to the late Edward and Bernice Kammeyer. In addition to his parents, Willard was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis; daughter, Vicki Rowe; twin brother, Willis; and brother, Arthur.

Willard will be deeply missed by his surviving relatives; one sister, two sons and their wives, one son-in-law, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; along with many other extended family and friends.

Willard proudly served our country as a 1st Lt. in the U.S. Marine Corps. After completing his master’s degree in education, he taught mainly Chemistry and Physics at Granville High School, Watkins Memorial High School, Maranatha Christian School, and Northridge High School. Willard was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Pataskala where he worshipped and served in his community. Willard loved horticulture, gooseberry pie and telling people about the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Funeral Services will be held 7 PM, Monday, November 20, 2017 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062 with Pastor Daniel Moore officiating. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Farmer Township Cemetery in Defiance County, OH.
