William C. “Bill” Hartman, 93, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Pataskala Oaks Nursing Home. He was born on November 17, 1931, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Clarence and Florence Hartman. Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country during the Korean Conflict. He retired after 25 hardworking years from the Columbus Fire Department, dedicating his time to the community from 1959 to 1984. Bill also ran his own home remodeling and renovations business for many years. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all, always ready with a story to share. Bill enjoyed going to the racetracks to watch the horse and dog races, and spending time with his beloved family, friends, and pets. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sue Hartman; stepdaughter, Donna Perry; grandchildren, William and Sara Perry; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other, family friends and loved ones.
