Mr. David Wayne Kitchens, 47, of Sharpsburg, GA died July 26, 2017. Born in Atlanta, GA he grew up in Riverdale and was a graduate of Riverdale High School. Mr. Kitchens was the owner/operator of Kitco Mobile Tire and Fleet Services. He enjoyed golfing, boating, and spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Ellie Mae. He was a man with a heart of gold.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary Dreisbach Kitchens; daughters, Emily Marie Kitchens and Kelsey Alise Kitchens; parents, Joe and Suzanne Casey Kitchens; grandmother, Peggy Monday Casey; sister, Pitta Kitchens Fink and her husband, Robert; nephew, Nicholas Fink; niece, Catherine Fink Bates and her husband, Matt. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Trudy Dresibach.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 30 in the chapel of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home with Joshua Casey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 noon until funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University, winshipcancer.emory.edu
