Mr. Irwin Eugene Roberts, 89, of Newnan, GA passed away September 12, 2021. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 6, 1932 to the late Morgan E. and Ruth (Speights) Roberts. He served in the U. S. Air Force and worked many years at Owens-Illinois Company.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Roberts; son, Tim Roberts; daughter, Deborah Wadsworth; grandchildren, Aaron Roberts, Christopher Roberts, Adam Wadsworth, and Justin Wadsworth; and sister, Esther Gardner.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 18 at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Aaron Hornsby officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be at 2:00 p.m. at Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
