Joseph graduated from Central High School, St. Joseph, MO in 2011 and attended Missouri Western University. He was an Eagle Scout out of the Pony Express Council, St. Joseph, MO. Joseph moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado in 2013 and headed to Phnom Penh, Cambodia in August 2019 to teach English to elementary students. He returned to Peachtree City, GA in December 2020 where he lived with his mother and step-dad until his death.
Joseph worked at Publix Grocery Store, first in the deli and then trained as a meat cutter. He was planning to move into management and enjoyed the camaraderie of his fellow Publix colleagues, sharing a never-ending supply of dad jokes. He also worked for DoorDash.
Joseph’s passion was travel. After traveling to Jamaica and India on missions and to Europe in high school, he continued the adventure traveling to Germany, Japan and Peru and had planned a trip to Nepal in October 2024. He loved to read, write, and listened to audiobooks while he door-dashed. He was adventurous, thoughtful, and a deep thinker with a big heart.
Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mike and Dolores Miller and Whitey and Gretchen Mausolf.
Joseph loved his family. He is survived by his mother, Jeanette Teter (Tracy) of the home; his father, Dean Mausolf (Sabrina Williams) of Cave Creek, AZ; his sister, Meghann Mausolf Davidson (Bryan) and nieces, Eliza Jane (10), Coralyn Hope (8) and Anneliese Rose (7) of Lynch Station, VA; and his brother, Dean Mausolf (Summer) and nephew, Benson Joseph (3) of Sharpsburg, GA, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joseph was cremated and a private, family memorial service will be planned at a later date.
