Leola Rebecca Atkinson, age 87, of Riverdale, GA passed away on November 27, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Harry” Atkinson; daughter, Charlotte R. Sibley; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Leola is survived by her daughter, Barbara Bobbitt; son-in-law, Marvin Sibley; sister-in-law, Hazel Suttles; grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn “Becky” (Jeremy) Shelton, Dwayne Allbright, David (Tammy) Sibley, Debbie (Vic) Cochoff, and Tina Hitt; 11 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012 at First Christian Church of Tyrone at 1:00 pm. The visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, GA. Interment will follow the services at Hillcrest Cemetery in East Point, GA.
