Mrs. Nancy E. Adams, age 91, of Fayetteville, GA, passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Raymond Z. Adams, parents; Luther A. and Mattie (Ray) Atkinson, step-mother; Mae Atkinson, siblings; Albert (Ackie) Atkinson, Gordon Atkinson, Frances Harpe, Charles Atkinson, Martha Dobbs, she is survived by her daughters; Carol Adams, Fayetteville, Judy (Kevin) Clark, Raiford, FL., grandson; Brady (Emily) Clark, sister; Joan (Therrell) Crawford. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home 135 Senoia Rd. Peachtree City, GA 30269. Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church of your choice.
