

Devoted mother, accomplished musician, and elementary school teacher, Paula Melissa Ward-Evans’ love of life did not end with her death. Paula passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 53 after a courageous battle with breast cancer, surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Paula completed her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education at East Carolina University, and then continued to receive a Master’s degree from Augusta State University in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Special Education. She taught students all over the world before settling in Peachtree City, Georgia to teach locally and raise her two beloved sons, Sevan and A.J.
She had an affinity for traveling the world and experiencing other cultures, a love of a nice conversation, and a wonderful sense of humor. She shared her passion for the arts, culture, travel, nature, and adventure with her children. She dedicated her life to her sons and always put their needs above her own. She was a gentle soul with a kind and loving spirit. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her sons, Sevan and A.J.; her sister, Carol King; her niece, Angela Tilley; two aunts; her faithful dog, Steve; and her beloved friend, L.
