Ross E. (Buddy) Wilks, Jr., 71, of Peachtree City, GA passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2014. He moved to Peachtree City in 1975 from Orlando, FL to start his family and new career in Atlanta. He loved the game of golf and shared that passion with his kids. He lived out his retirement in Tyrone and most recently in Newnan with his daughter. Ross is preceded in death by his parents, the late Gene Reynolds and Ross E. Wilks, Sr. He is survived by his sons, Mathew Wilks of Newnan and Mark Sikes of Fayetteville; daughter, Wendy Sikes Smith of Newnan; granddaughter, Madeline Wilks; brother, Mike Wilks of Orlando, FL; and three nephews. Arrangements made under the direction of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory in Peachtree City.
