Rutha Lee Thomas Bray, 75, of Peachtree City, GA was a remarkable woman, the true real definition of strong. Born on June 20, 1939 in Ocilla, GA to Molly Christine Thomas and Cleveland Thomas, Sr. She convinced us all that she would live forever. During the struggle of life, she was always in good spirits, even when in pain and agony. We are all on borrowed precious time. Unfortunately we must return God's Angel, Rutha Lee Bray, back to him. She was called home November 9, 2014 on her granddaughter's (Natrell Hampton) birthday. Sometimes life is hard but, you kept strong and kept moving on. You didn't let anything hold you back. Although its difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may our memories help comfort us tomorrow. We won't think of you as gone away, because your journey has just begun.
Survivors include her four beautiful children: Earl Thomas, Bobby Williams, Yvonne Williams, and Michele Dimmock; her siblings: Mary Mitchell, Vodean Bailey, Pearl Thomas, Vivian Thomas, Eddie Lee Thomas, and George Thomas; grandchildren: Nikisha Kennedy, Ronald Bryant, Naquania Williams, and Natrell Hampton; great-grandchildren, Naquarisha Williams, Leyonia Spikes, Jai'quania Tukes, Cedric Moore III, Cenesme Moore, Cedrionna Moore, Ronald Shingles Jr., Amirah Mew, Ty-Mon Mew, Bailei Hampton; and all of her nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, and great-cousins.
We all will truly miss you and cherish your wisdom. We will love you for a lifetime.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 1:00pm at Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church, 5527 Redpoll Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32219.
