Weng-Kin "Greg" Gregory Vu

Greg was originally born in Macao but came to the U.S. as a teen. Greg graduated from Houston Academy in Dothan, Alabama, and then went on to study mechanical engineering at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. After graduating with his engineering degree, Greg engaged in a very successful career as a licensed mechanical engineer and worked on a wide variety of specialized projects across the country. Shortly after college, Greg met and married his wonderful wife and went on to have an amazing son.

Greg was a devoted husband and father as well as patriot who truly loved this country. He loved to spend time with his family by watching sporting events and fishing together. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends. He was always so helpful to others in need.

Greg is survived by his wife; son; parents; and sister.

The family will hold visitation on the March 16, 2023 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City, GA. On Friday the March 17, 2023 there will be another short visitation at the church from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. The funeral will promptly begin at 1:00pm, followed by a graveside service at Westminster Memorial Gardens, 2090 GA-54, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269.
