As a young man, he proudly served in the United States Army, where he met his bride of 54 years, Marilyn. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, watching the Mississippi State Bulldogs and watching old Westerns on TV.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 54 years, Marilyn Morris; fur baby, Pricilla; brothers, John Ray Morris and Tony May; sisters, Laverne Bridges, Shirley Smith, Quida Scoggins (Ronnie) and Marsha Upton (Jerry); and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Arnold is preceded in death by his father and mother, Willie and Delphia Morris; sister, Virginia Copeland; brother, Herman Morris; sister-in-laws, Margaret Morris and Charlene Morris; and brother-in-laws, Edward Bridges and John Hentnik.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl.The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm that same day in the funeral home chapel and the committal service afterwards at the Lakewood Memorial Park Pavilion on Clinton Boulevard.
