

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Friday, October 24, 2014 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Saturday, October 25, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm in the Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork.
She was born Sunday, January 26, 1930 in Montgomery County, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Rufus A. Bridges and Lela Chesteen Bridges. She graduated from Anguilla High School where she was Valedictorian of her Senior Class.
Mrs. Morgan was employed as a receptionist for the Albert Miller Law Firm in Rolling Fork and later retired from the Pearl Walmart after several years as a cashier. She was a faithful member of the Light House Baptist Church in Richland and will be remembered as a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Milton Thornhill and Arlis Morgan; son, Simeon Carl Thornhill, and siblings, Lorene Chapman, Margie Adams, Willima Bridges, Bill Bridges, Kermit Bridges, Avanelle Evans, Elwin Bridges, Delma Bridges and Thelma Robbins.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Linda Thornhill; grandchildren, Raleigh Thornhill, Tahnya Bridges, David Reimers, Chris Vernon, Scott Morgan and Dusty Beckham; and great-grandchildren, Tristen and Tyler Bridges, Devin and Austin Reimers, Caden and Colby Morgan.
