Beverly J Barnes

She was born June 19, 1952 in Jackson, Mississippi, the eldest daughter of the late Aubrey Hearn and Erma Lee McGowan but lived most of her life in Houston, Texas before settling back in Pearl, Mississippi.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Kristi Barnes, her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Danny Brown, her two half-sisters, Johnie Winstead and Danette Carpenter, her niece, Stephanie Kile and her husband Chris, her almost sister (cousin), Tammie Hamilton and husband Steven, her uncle, Hugh McGowan, the Barnes Family and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded by her brother, Aubrey “Bubba” Hearn, husbands, James Gunter, John Barnes and Rex Heiney and her aunt, Mary McGowan.

Beverly was baptized as a member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle church in Brandon. She worked at Premier Medical Group as well as Rite Respond Answering Service. She was a member of The Salvation Army church in Houston, Texas.

Visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Baldwin Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at

11 a.m. in the funeral home Chapel at Baldwin Lee with interment following at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland.
