Bobby was born on March 14, 1946 to Almeda and Joe Williams in Mobile, Alabama.
A solider of the United States Army, Alumni of the University of Southern Mississippi, Bobby worked on movies sets and theaters. Following technology, Bobby moved to expert in color corrections at a local printing company. Upon retirement Bobby drove a school bus for Richland Schools.
Bobby had a passion for music, University of Southern Miss marching band, percussionist for the Jackson Symphony Orchestra and a drummer for several dancing swing bands.
Bobby is survived by the love of his life, wife of 42 years, Kathleen Liddell Williams; sister, Juanita Stewart of Pelahatchie, Mississippi; and brother, David Luckie of Cheyenne, Wyoming, James Martin of Tuscola Alabama two children, Tanya (Jimmie) Rasnick of Monroe, Ohio, and Bobby E. Williams Jr. of Richland, Mississippi, as well as five grandchildren, Kathleen Rasnick, Jonathan Rasnick, Marley Williams, Mia Oberto, Baynon Williams and one great grandchild, Canaan Gailor. He was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Memorial services for Bobby Williams Sr. will be held at a later date at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery on Midway Road in Terry, Mississippi.
