This is your Aunt Nana. My heart is broken, but I know you are at peace. I cannot thank you enough for all the joy, laughter, craziness, worry, and tattoos (: you have given all of us. I've always been proud of you for being stubborn and doing things your way. You were and are truly one of a kind. I hope you never forget me and how much I truly loved you. 25 years is not long enough, but I guess it has to be. Why? I love you Briney. Please watch over us and I know that with your stubbornness maybe you can kick one of us in the butt just to let us know you're here. I know that would make you laugh. I love you always and will miss you always until I see you again.

Brian will be missed more than you can imagine.   He was a special guy...a free spirit with a HUGE heart and ready laugh.  Since he was a little tot, he would smile that little quirky smile of his and immediately wrap you around his little finger.   Even when he was being fussed at, he would do something silly or give you that sideways look and grin of his...and you just HAD to laugh!  We are so very thankful to have tons of precious and sweet memories of our Brinkie.   I know he is experiencing the fullness of joy in Heaven with our Father now, and interceding for the rest of us who are left to carry on down here.  

Rest now, sweetie....we will miss you, but will never ever forget you.

i am so so sorry for your loss i met brain a few times through danny and drea and my daughter and son in law jennifer chisolm rodgers and josh rodgers.all i keep seeiing is him laughing joking playing.i loved the dance he did at drea and dannys wedding i laughed till i nearly cried.i remember brain walked my daughter in the wedding and she kept turning red saying stop brain we all laughed and laughed god bless all of you.may god hold you in his arm through all this and know brain is with god and the angels,so he will be helping watch over you know, love katherine renee chisolm

Dear ratcliffe family, I can't help but to think of y'all during this hard time. I'm so sorry and I wish there was something I could say or do to help, but sadly, there isn't. Casey, my heart breaks for you and your little boys. You have a wonderful husband who I know loved you and those boys more than life. I hope you can some kind of comfort in the fact that he was such a wonderful man. Amanda, if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask. I'm praying for all of you everyday and my only hope is that yall can find some kind of peace during this time.

I went to Jr High and High School with Brian. Brian was always a sweet guy and loved to share jokes. He had a beautiful soul and I know they gained a wonderful angel in heaven. My heart goes out to the family and friends at this time. We will meet again Brian.

I used to ask you "why can't you be like everyone else?!" and your reply was always, "I don't want to be like everyone else! I want to be ME!" Son, I'm proud of the man you became. Dale and I just want to let you know we are praying for you all.  Although we haven't seen Brian for many years, we are knit together in the Body of Christ and we feel your loss as our own.  We will lift you up daily as you walk through this valley; you are not alone.  We love you dearly.

I know that words can not express how you guys are feeling.  The pics of Brian in his baseball caps and the pic with soccer ball reminds me so much of him growing up with (Jerad) my nephew. Brian grew into such a Man, always respectful and caring of others. Over time we would have many conversations there in the driveway.  I would always ask what he was working on, and he would always explain(like I knew what he was talking about- HaHa)but, as he was, a young respectful man he would always explain.  What keeps me going about my MOM and DAD who are gone is that we will all unite in time.
I send my sorrow in the loss of a wonderful young son, and brother. Thank you for sharing Brians life on the Internet.  I have injured my heel and not able to come to share my sorrow with all of you. May GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU DURING THIS TIME. THINKING OF ALL OF YOU.
