

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm, Friday, August 28, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Saturday, August 29, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with interment in Natchez Trace Memorial Park in Ridgeland.
He was born Saturday, March 14, 1942 in Belzoni, Mississippi, a son of the late Henry Lee and Edith Inez Ferguson. Carl was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a member of the Baptist faith and he retired from Nicholas Acoustics in Jackson. An avid outdoorsman, Carl enjoyed hunting and was a member of the St. Albans Hunting Club, as well as the Moose Lodge of Jackson and the Masonic Lodge of Brandon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Hatcher, and sister, Amanda Hatcher.
Survivors include brother, Dwight McDougal and wife Fran; sisters, Joyce Gilbert, Carolyn Fowler and husband Wilburn, Diane Thomas, Linda Bounds and husband Douglas, and Judy Gaddy and husband Lanny; friends, John Roby, Dan Windham and other hunting buddies; and a host of nieces and nephews.
