Catherine Thrasher Mooney

Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be Friday, February 10th at 10am in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Mooney was a retired employee of Packard Electric. She and her husband T.W. “Toby” were avid campers with the Telephone Family Campers Club. She was a devoted caregiver to her pets: Chloe, Smokey, and Sadie. Her grandchildren Mandy and Katie were always her pride and joy. She was known to them as well as many more as Mamaw Cat. Mrs. Mooney was a member of Parkplace Baptist Church in Pearl.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elra Lee Thrasher; her mother, Sallie Thrasher; and her brother, Bobby Ray Thrasher.

She leaves behind her husband of seventeen years, T.W. “Toby” Mooney; daughters, Lisa Harrison Gibson (Stanley) of White Oak and Robin Harrison Propst (Louie) of Madison; and two grandchildren, Mandy Gibson and Sara “Katie” Propst.
