Charles Ray Pope, 73, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at his home. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Monday, December 3, 2012 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl followed by a memorial service at 3:30pm.
Mr. Pope loved his family and they always came first. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. When he was younger he enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo, and visiting his relatives.
Mr. Pope is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Lonnie Pope; several brothers and sisters; and his son, Randall Pope.
He is survived by his son, Eddie Pope; and daughter, Belinda McLain, both of Pearl; the mother of his children, Nellie "Jean" Burnside; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Joe Pope; and sisters, Betty Jean Sullivan and Christine Drew.
