Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood South Cemetery in Jackson.
Cleo was a lifelong member of Trinity Gospel Fellowship (PCG).
Cleo loved her family and always lifted others up when she was down herself. Her prayer was to see each one of her loved ones living for the Lord and serving Him, this was her heart’s desire. She has prepared the way for us to follow. She will be forever in our hearts, as a wonderful loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and to many Mamaw. She was called “Sis” by some special people. We love you today and forever.
She loved family gathering at all the holidays and birthdays, making them special to us. In her day, she was an avid garage saler and thrift store shopper, accumulating much “junk” over the years.
Cleo was a native of Richland, MS, she is the only baby girl born to the late Leo and Mary Lee Frazier. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Edward Earl Frazier, and Billy Ray Frazier; and three husbands, Alvin Lee Peden, Sr., Edward Cooksey, and Oley Torrence.
Cleo is survived by her son, Alvin (Darlene) Peden, two daughters, Terrie (Hobie) Hughes and Officer Tammy Rayborn and her fiancée Don Fitzhugh; grandsons, Keith (Rose) Rayborn, Brandon (Tiffany) Peden, Brenton Peden, Matthew Patrick, Kyle (Katie) Rayborn; one granddaughter, Ashley (Courtney) Buckelew; great grandchildren, Kayla Rayborn, Grace Rayborn, Allie Rayborn, Luke Rayborn, Gannon Rayborn, Courtlynn Buckelew, and Caleb Peden.
Special thanks to all her doctors, nurses, and many friends who offer up prayers and brought food to the ICU waiting room.
