Dan Butler, 80, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at his residence in Collins. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 5 – 8pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 1pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Mr. Butler is preceded in death by his wife, Maxie Ruth Butler; son, Danny; brothers, J.M., John, and Guy Butler; sister, Bonnie Redfern; son-in-law, Billy Cook; sister-in-law, Eunice Butler; and brother-in-law, Earnest Redfern.
He is survived by his dearest friend, Dovie Cameron; daughter, Pamela Cook; grandchildren, Kimberly May (Anthony) and Matthew Hancock; brothers, David Butler (Fannie) and Jack Butler (Lois); sisters, Willie Mae Hinton (Frank), Janie McPhail (Harlos), Bernice Redfern (Kenneth), Patsy Kirkley, Grace Higgins (Truman), and Dorothy Mitchell (George); caregiver B.J. Parmer, sister-in-laws, Dot and Sybil Butler.
