

Visitation will be 12:00-2:00pm Friday, November 20, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment in Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery in Madison.
Dorothy was born Thursday, January 11, 1945 in Sunflower County, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Benjamin T. Bingham and Lora Eldridge Moore Bingham. She was a graduate of Vaiden High School.
She retired after 15 years as a dispatcher with the Jackson Police Department and then enjoyed a lengthy career with Allstate Insurance. A dedicated Christian, she faithfully attended the Jackson Revival Center Church for as long as her health allowed.
Survivors include daughters, Shea Dykes and husband Mike and Haley Peets and fiancée Willie Worrell; sisters, Doris Cole and June Moore and husband Charles; brothers, T.E. Bingham and wife Margie and Rev. W.A. Bingham and wife Marge; and grandchildren, Jordan Ross, Danny Clark and Macie Stringer.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Peets, Jr. and sisters, Lucille DeFreez and Connie Williams.
