Born on April 23, 1944, in Choctaw, MS to the late Mr. Celcey Floyd and Erlene Ray McIntire. He was the youngest of seven children.
Mr. McIntire had a lengthy career as a supervisor in the elevator industry with Schindler Elevator Co. He was also a reservist with the Mississippi Army National Guard.
When Mr. McIntire was not spending time with his family you could find him in the outdoors hunting or fishing. He was a straight shooter and a hard worker according to his family. If you needed help with anything he was always there and never met a stranger. He was always diligent to take care of his sisters any time and any way possible.
Mr. McIntire is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sisters, Freida McIntire and Johnnie Lipscomb; nieces, Connie Jones and Tanya McIntire; nephews, Hugh McIntire, Ralph Harvey (Amy) and Randle Harvey. He is also survived by several great and great-great nieces and nephews and his sister Freida's loyal canine "Rocky".
A visitation will be held Monday, May 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, MS. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will be the same day at Salem United Methodist Cemetery in Ackerman, Ms at 2:30pm.
