Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm, Monday, October 31, 2016, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 11:00am, Tuesday, November 1, 2016, in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Rev. Keith Cooper will officiate.
She was born Friday, December 27, 1946, in Jackson, the daughter of the late Earl Morris and Flora Mae Stephens Morris.
Mrs. Roberts worked for several years in the cafeterias for Pearl Schools and Jackson Prep. She later served as a child care assistant at Terry’s Tots in Pearl. She attended church at Metro Baptist in Magee. An avid angler, she and her husband loved to fish, and often built a campfire and fished overnight.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, John Roberts; son, Billy Roberts (Melissa); brothers, Oliver Morris (Bobbie) and Gene Morris (Bonnie); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
