Faye Beck

The family will hold visitation from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl.

She was born on May 15, 1947 to the late John Beck and Edna Parker Beck in Noxapater, Mississippi. Faye attended Cornerstone Church in Pearl and was a licensed cosmetologist. She then went on to work as a bail bond agent for over 20 years until her retirement. Faye genuinely enjoyed her job which suited her sociable nature. She could make friends with anybody and her clients were always loyal due to her personable disposition. Above all, Faye was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was the backbone of the family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stennis Smith; grandson, Steven Barnett; and brothers, Jackie Beck, Gene Beck, and Jerry Beck.

Faye is survived by her son, John Dennis Smith; daughter, Linda Faye Barnett; grandchildren, Rashelle Reese, Mickey Barnett, Jasmine Peavey, Hugh Roberts, Summer Harrison; great-grandchildren, Autumn Reese, Brayden Barnett, Bryson Barnett, Hayden Barnett, Madelyn Rose Patterson, Kynslee Bryant, Everleigh Bryant, Madisyn Deaton, Connor Jones, Lillianna Roberts, Harley Roberts, Maddon Peavey, Shaw Peavey, and Maci Peavey; sister, Pat Bruce; and a host of other beloved extended family members and friends.
