Frank "Yankee" Herbert Barron

Pearl, MS

Mr. Frank H. Barron, age 74, died Friday, November 5, 2010 in Pearl, MS. A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 8, 2010 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Pearl with Rev. Darby Combs officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the funeral home.

Mr. Barron was born in Birmingham, AL on July 4, 1936. He served in the United States Army as an Air Born Ranger during the Korean War. He retired as the plant superintendent from the Heckett Corporation after 38 years of service. He was a former member of the Masons and was a Shriner and served in the clown unit in Warren, Ohio. He loved to fish and play golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Arthur and Matte Belle Barron.

Survivors include his wife Connie Barron of Pearl, MS, a daughter, Tracy Barron of Marshfield, Mass. A step-daughter Beth Martin and her husband Craig of Puckett, MS. One step-son Jimmy Reed, Jr. and his wife Roxanne of Puckett, MS. Two grandsons, Michael Reed and his wife Mary and Mason Martin of Puckett, MS and a granddaughter, Candice Martin of Puckett, MS. One great grandson, Spencer Reed of Puckett, MS. Two sisters, Mary Perry of Columbus, Ohio and Kaye Phillips of Alabama and one brother, Raymond Barron of Alabama.

Memorials may be made to Johns Cemetery Fund or Bethel Baptist Church.
