

Visitation will be from 5 - 7:30pm Friday, May 15, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel with interment at Clinton City Cemetery.
Rev. Claude Shufelt will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joseph Hennington, Ernest Roberts, Rocky Weeks, Russell Williamson, Chris Griffin, River Weghorst, Tret Darr and Tyler Darr.
Mrs. Sanderford was born in 1929 to the late Theodore George Eaton and Lottie Marie Smith Eaton. She is one of the last survivors of the 1942 Crystal Springs Bus Train Wreck that took the lives of many people, including her grandmother, Maw Smith. She was a loving daughter, mama, grandmother and friend to all who knew her as “Memaw”.
Mrs. Sanderford is preceded in death by her husband, Von Sanderford; son, Baxter Kendall Griffin; and her parents.
She is survived by her daughters, Melinda Jane Dean of Pasadena, TX, Brenda Sartin of Pearl, MS, and Sharice Best (David) of Seabrook, TX; stepchildren, John Von Sanderford of Metairie, LA, and Von Marie McDonald of Pearl, MS; daughter-in-law, Rose Ann Griffin; grandchildren, Chris, Matt and Joey Griffin, David and Robert Dean, Michael Stewart, Jr., Brendan and Crystal Sartin, Tina Williamson, Uvonna Darr, Tony, John, and Matt Weghorst, and Sarah Woods; 28 great-grandchildren;1 great-great grandchild and two on the way.
She was dearly loved and will be missed.
