Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Thursday, August 1, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with interment in Glenwood Memorial Park, Richland.

She was born March 1, 1929 in Conehatta, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Willie Dawson Madden and Essie Kay Arthur Madden.

Mrs. Comans was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland. She and her late husband, Luther Comans, Jr., owned and operated Capitol Pest Control for many years.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her son, Curtis E. Comans.

Survivors include sons, Eddie Comans (Linda) and James Comans; daughters, Brenda Langford and Sandra Webb (Jack); daughter-in-law, Terresa Comans; grandchildren, Robert Bell, Scotty Carpenter, Jennifer Gainey, Tonya Bairfield, Angie Crawford, Luke Comans, Steven Carpenter, Curt Comans, Kiesha Raphelt, Dennis Webb, Clint Comans, Bridget Comans and Josh Comans; and 18 great-grandchildren.
