Following her retirement, she traveled widely and served on staff at First Baptist Church of Shreveport.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Milly Lastinger, Polly Smith, and Ebbie Roberts.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews including her special nieces Tempie Laurent and Beth Masters.
