Visitation will be 10:00am-12:00pm, Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm on Saturday at the Cedarlawn Cemetery in Jackson.
Jerry was born Tuesday, September 18, 1934, in Birmingham, Alabama, the only child of the late Fred Elam Hawkins and Pauline Browning Hawkins. She moved to Jackson more than fifty-five years ago and worked for several local retail stores over the years. Jerry was a faithful member of Pine Haven Presbyterian Church in Clinton until her failing health prohibited from attending regularly. Her hobbies included playing bridge, jigsaw and crossword puzzles and visiting with friends. Jerry's favorite times were spent at the beach in Gulf Shores with her three sons.
Survivors include sons, Fred Garner, Allan Garner and Richard Garner; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
