Mr. Copeland is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Alfred Copeland and Ellie Mae Fulton Copeland; sister, Jurline Copeland; and step-children, Mark Hosea and William Willett.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Copeland; sons, William Copeland (Debra) and Herman Copeland, Jr; step-children, Jeff Hosea (Janet), Melody Barnes (Josh), and Donna Wilcox; brothers, Mavon (Mary), James, Sam (Peggy), Jimmy, and Shirley Copeland; sisters, Janet Del Pozo and Margaret Ann Land; two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
