Herman Wayne Snell, 40, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Central MS Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 23, 2010 in the Chapel of Baldwin Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8pm and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be in the Pine Bluff Cemetery in Hazlehurst.
Mr. Snell was a graduate of Bailey Magnet School and continued his education in psychology at the University of Southern MS. Herman was employed by Source Link in Madison and worked part-time writing the music column for the Jackson Free Press. He was very active in the Jackson Community working with various musical organizations and the Crossroads Film Festival. He was successful in having his own art work published.
He is survived by his son, Loden Snell; mother, Bobbie Lack; father, Gerald Wayne Snell; sister, Lynn Snell; grandparents, Cora Mae Morgan and Maxine Hammond; and nephew, Sebastian.
