Howard Lee Powell

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services are 2:00pm, Sunday, September 12, 2021, in the Dover Cemetery, Bentonia.

Mr. Powell was born May 23, 1931, in Madison County, Mississippi, a son of the late Robert Lee Powell and Rubie Walker Powell. He served our country in the U.S. Army, and enjoyed a lengthy career as a heavy machine operator in the construction business.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruthie Mae White Powell; children, Larry Wayne, Sheron Ann, Karen, Gina, Douglas, Bobby, and Roy; and many extended family and friends.
