A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland, Mississippi.
She was born on October 26, 1931 in Lake, Mississippi, the 12th child of John and Ellen Stringfellow. She graduated from Lake High School in the April of 1950. She was employed by Bell South for 40 years and retired in 1995. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland.
Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ellen Stringfellow; sisters, Florence Nipper of Richland, Mississippi, Goldie Evans of Lake, Mississippi, Lela Walker of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Francis Talbert of Chicago, Illinois, and Bertis McDonald of Shreveport, Louisiana; and brothers, Willie Stringfellow of Lake, Mississippi, Weldon Stringfellow of Lake, Mississippi, Rollie Stringfellow of Forest, Mississippi, Lonzie Stringfellow of Laurel, Mississippi, and Calvin Stringfellow of Jackson, Mississippi.
Mrs. Myers is survived by her daughters, Shelia Jackson and Wanda Myers; grandson, David Jackson, Jr. and wife Mary; great-grandchildren Peyton Jackson and Marley Jackson; sister, Ina Lucas; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
