Visitation will be 12:00-1:30pm, Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
She was born Thursday, July 31, 1947 in Pontotoc County. A longtime resident of Pearl, Kay retired from the Pearl School System. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and devoted homemaker for her family.
She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Byron Smith, father, Brooks Bishop and brother, John Luker.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Paul Odus Smith; son, Darren Paul Smith (Chris); mother, Eva Luker (Maurice); sisters, Jo Vinzant (Frank), Martha Gray (Thomas) and Diane Kabbes (Robert); brothers, Gary Bishop (Judy), Mike Luker (Linda) and Paul Luker (Susan); grandchildren, Alex Hitt and Jayme Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
