Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 2:00pm, Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the funeral home with interment to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
He was born June 12, 1939, in Mesita, Colorado, a son of the late Ephriam Medina and Salome Chavez Medina. Joe proudly served our country with the U.S. Navy from February 1956 until July 1959. Joe's primary career was in professional trucking and he owned and operated Medina and Sons Trucking in Pearl for many years. In his free time he enjoyed race cars, motorcycles, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nell Medina; and grandson, Daniel Medina.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Medina; sons, Patrick Medina, and Ephriam Medina; daughter, Lyn Gifford; step-daughters, Glenda Killough, and Lisa Vanderford; brothers, Paul, Phil, David, Danny, Jimmy, and Alex Medina; sister, Rita Medina; 17 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
