Visitation is 5:00-8:00pm Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 1:00pm Sunday, October 16, 2011 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery, Puckett.
Lucy Jolene Thompson Miley was born Wednesday, August 17, 1921 in Rankin county near D'Lo, Mississippi, a daughter of the late James Franklin Thompson and Etta Mae Williams Thompson.
Jolene was a member of Grandview Baptist Church in Pearl and was a retired LPN, having served many dedicated years with Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Miley.
Survivors include daughters, Joann Nipper of Florence, Guinell Payne and husband Henry of Grand Cane, LA and Bobbie Lee and husband Howard of Pearl; son, Larry Miley of Pearl; sister, Joyce Alban of Dallas, TX; brother, Thomas Thompson of Madison; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
