The family has decided to only hold a private service.
She was born on January 10, 1939 in Jackson to the late Charles Hubbard and Edith Hintson Hubbard. First and foremost, Martha loved her family. She was a very talented cook who could make just about everything, but her gumbo was definitely one her many signature dishes. She also loved to travel and go on trips with her family and friends. Never one to stay idle for long, she enjoyed playing bridge, tennis, fishing, sewing, and bird watching in her free time. Martha was a true Southern homemaker.
Martha is survived by her son, Hubbard Partridge (Tammy); daughters, Paige Sullivan (Lavelle) and Pam Morrison (Greg); grandchildren, Chase Partridge, Cook Weathersby, Kelsey Weathersby, Anna Clair Cole, Katie Sullivan, August Sullivan, and Olivia Sullivan; sister, Beverly McGuffee; and a number of other beloved family members, including her feline companion, Busby.
Her home was shared with many cats throughout the years. In memory of her love for animals, consider making a donation to the Mississippi Animal Rescue League www.msarl.org
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.baldwinleepearl.com for the Partridge family.
